GAiN Latvia

Global Aid Network (GAiN) exists to demonstrate the love of God, in word and deed, to hurting and needy people around the world, through relief and development projects. Currently GAiN is helping with humanitarian aid projects in 43 countries around the world.

GAiN Latvia has been in existence since 2002.  Our purpose is to give new hope to those people who are in need, as well as encourage them to fight and overcome material depression and poverty.

We work with families, mothers and the outcasts of the society that face poverty and despair on daily basis. We also help children that who have been neglected and made fun of because of their poverty. To multiply our effectiveness, we work hard to build cooperative relationships with area social services, local governments and municipalities, NGOs, churches and other organizations.

A special focus of ours in Latvia is large families.  Having many children is frequently looked down upon and such families faced even greater pressures than others in poverty.  We work hard to bring hope to such families.
